Brizy Tait, an Austin-based makeup artist, provided the following tips for getting the most out of 100% Pure beauty’s truly stunning color collection.

Brizy’s favorite lip & check stain is the Cranberry Glow in sheer cranberry. “The cranberry brings life to every color lip & cheek color especially for women over 40 who are losing color in their lips. It evens out the lip area, and brings life back to it. Not to forget that this practical item can also be used as a cream blush.

How to apply a check stain?
After hydrating the skin and applying foundation (can also be used on bare skin), Brizy recommends blotting a small amount on the apples of the cheeks in a circular motion and then blending back toward the ear. “If you get too much on, apply a bit of loose powder to blend it a little bit. Then take whatever is left on your finger and put it on your lips.”

How to avoid fine lines around the lip area?
Not all lip glosses are created equal. 100% Pure lip glosses are made out of 83% Vitamin E. Just apply a small amount of lip gloss to moisten the lips as much as needed.For a chap-stick feel, using the ring finger, tap a small amount of the product onto the lips, blotting once or twice.If you want a bit of extra sheen, apply more of the product to the top of your lip. For photo shoots or important events (like weddings, for instance), Brizy recommends applying a very thin dusting of Pink Champagne luminesce face powder over the first layer foundation, and then adding a second layer over the powder, followed by a bit of lip gloss. Brizy’s favorite lip gloss is the Pink Caramel, for that light nude appearance. As a blush, Brizy emphasizes that: “the big key [using a cheek stain or not] is to make sure your skin is pretty hydrated. If you haven’t tried quench by Osmosis, you need to get one for yourself. It will change the way you think about moisturizers for the better, specially for those with dry skin. I love the look that I get with most of my clients using a powder blush under the foundation. My favorite blush is Pretty Naked, it really makes you sparkle, still keeping you gorgeous an not over done! Barely there….
